Lately...

We are now down to 62 days before the big day! It is crazy how quickly time flies.

Wedding Update:
Over the last month we have accomplished quite a few wedding tasks including setting the menus for the Punta Cana events. Knowing us, you know that is a big deal! From the boat cruise, cocktail hour and dinner, you will not be disappointed. We are very much looking forward to the food!

Josh also had the closest thing I think he will ever have to a "groomzilla" moment. We had booked the boy's attire through Al's Formal Wear and last weekend we went to Men's Warehouse and switched. He insisted on switching to Men's Warehouse in order to make sure that everyone's fit was accurate considering the boys are coming from all over the country. The boys will look amazing and that is all that matters.

The RSVP deadline is tomorrow, and I'm happy to say that I have most of the replies back. What amazes me is the number of people who refuse to send it back because they love the invites that much. If you are among that group at least shoot us a text or email letting us know your response.
This is my favorite response thus far. A note from my aunt with her RSVP because she did not want to send her actual reply card back.

Bachelorette Party:
My girls threw me the most amazing bachelorette party in New Orleans. We stayed at The Ritz Carlton Hotel and had some incredible food over the course of the weekend. From the hotel, dinner and tour of Antoine's, nights on Bourbon Street, two trips to Cafe Du Monde, French Quarter Tour, brunch and the company of the best girls in the world I could not ask for anything more! The weekend also consisted of a professional photo shoot by Scott Hebert for my bridesmaids and me. Jannina and I went to college with Scott and his work is awesome. Check him out at http://www.scotthebert.com/ I'm looking forward to seeing the edited photos, the preview we received has some great shots.
 Beignets...enough said.
Beginning our French Quarter tour. It was relaxing and informative.
We took pics in areas throughout Jackson Square, the French Quarter, at Cafe Du Monde and a few by the Mississippi River. By the end of the day I think all of our cheeks hurt!
 Scott and the girls.
After eating an amazing brunch at Commander's Palace. We ordered every dessert on the menu and they were fabulous-and this is coming from a person who doesn't really like sweets!

In other news:
We are looking forward to football season, so much so that we attended the Maroon and White Game at Texas A&M. We are going to try to plan a college football road trip this fall, that is if we can get the scheduling to work around our coaching schedules and Texans games. Don't let our attendance at the game fool you though. Forever LSU and Go Blue
