Roller Coaster

I've come to the conclusion that planning a wedding is much like riding a roller coaster. There are highs, lows, twists and turns. Times when things are moving slowly and it is an uphill climb and times when things are out of this world crazy and fast.

The past week or so has been crazy busy with last minute planning and trying to make sure everything is ready for the big trip. The dress is at the tailor, pre-trip newsletter sent out, thank you cards sent for shower gifts, purchased the last of the gifts and materials for the big day and working on welcome booklets.

This week I just wait on the things that are being shipped and hope that I everything a. comes on time and b. is satisfactory.

I also clearly must be a gluten for punishment because instead of relaxing the week before we leave, I will be attending a week long seminar at the University of Houston. I'm hoping that it will be well worth my time and that we are as ready as I think we are. I don't want to regret not having the time, but this girls has to stay busy!

Things left to do:
Finalize ceremony
Write vows
Download music
Complete welcome booklets
Pre-trip pampering
Have a blast with our favorite people in the world
Marry my best friend
